The Detmold Group is a privately owned, global leader in the manufacturing and sale of specialized paper and board packaging products. Due to the Group’s strong emphasis on innovation and delivering solutions to our diverse customer base, the Group has formed the LaunchPad Adelaide Team. This team is the centre for research and development, concept creation, rapid prototyping and works with our customers to provide fast, integrated product development services.
We are now seeking a casual Design student to join this team and utilise their skills and design flair while gaining hands-on industry experience. You will be part of our broader marketing team and will provide support on the development of new designs and printed product samples. Your responsibilities will include:
The successful applicant must be capable of working independently and at a fast pace whilst maintaining high quality standards. Additionally, you will be technologically savvy and have the ability, with training, to create 3D models from 2D concepts. Furthermore, strong communication skills and a customer service mindset will hold you in good stead.
This is a casual position with flexible working hours of around 8 -16 hours per week spread over 4-5 days. This is a great opportunity to develop your professional skills while studying and gain hands-on experience working for an industry leading international company.
Applicants currently studying a Bachelor of Industrial Design or Design, Technology and Innovation will be highly regarded.
